2017 Clean 15 & Dirty Dozen List
The Environmental Working Group’s “Dirty Dozen” list of the types of produce with the highest loads of pesticide residues found on them has been released for 2017. Pears and Potatoes were new additions to this list, displacing cherry tomatoes and cucumbers from last year’s list. Utilize this information to help guide your grocery shopping and consider buying those foods higher up on the Dirty Dozen list ORGANIC. On the opposite side of the spectrum allow the “Clean 15” list to help you shop smarter and dictate which foods you don't necessarily have to buy organic.
