Dr. John Mignelli emphasizes evidence-based patient-centered care, meaning his treatment plans are made with the most up-to-date research and best-practice protocols, while accomodating patient-specific needs and goals. While communicating clear rationale for his clinical decision-making, Dr. Mignelli offers diversified spinal manipulative therapy, flexion/distraction therapy, myofascial release, instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization, electrotherapy, and incorporates rehabilitative exercise into virtually every treatment plan. Dr. Mignelli is Precision Nutrition 1 certified, and Rock Tape certified, and will be certified in contemporary medical acupuncture in late 2020.
Dr. Mignelli earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from D'Youville College in 2020. He is an alum of Brock University, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree in 2015. After completing clinical rotations at the University of Buffalo Neurosurgery department, Dr. Mignelli has a special interest in neck pain and headaches, and the realtionship between the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system. He is also passionate about overcoming conditions such as low-back pain through lifestyle modification and rehabilitative exercise. A man of many hobbies, Dr. Mignelli keeps busy with activites such as hockey, golf, and softball, as well as playing music and enjoying time with family and friends. He is always enthusiastic about meeting new people, and developing relationships by making connections and prioritizing his patients.
